Procedures Depicted: Breast Lift

Seventeen years after undergoing bilateral breast augmentation with a breast lift, this 55-year-old female patient returned with concerns that her implants felt too large and heavy. She requested implant removal to improve comfort and overall appearance. MRI imaging revealed an intracapsular rupture of the left implant, while the right implant remained intact. Dr. Janssen performed a bilateral breast implant removal along with a bilateral mastopexy using a circumvertical lift technique. The patient was extremely pleased with her postoperative appearance and expressed satisfaction with her breasts without implants.
