In addition to volume and droopiness, this patient was bothered by her chest bones sticking out. The patient had pectus carinatum, a bird shaped chest because of the way her ribs were formed. Having a breast augmentation and lift would not solve the problem completely. She could have a minimal lift and lipostructure done to fill the depressions in her chest. This could camouflage the majority of the depressions. the patient elected to have a breast augmentation with implant, a mini mastopexy to tighten skin on lower part of breasts and to have lipostructure with fat transfer to upper chest.
