This 23-year-old patient had long struggled with breasts that felt larger and heavier than she preferred. In addition to their size, she was also bothered by breast sagging and desired a lifted, more youthful appearance with improved long-term support.
To address her concerns, she underwent a bilateral mastopexy with placement of GalaFLEX mesh. The GalaFLEX mesh acts as an internal support system, often described as an “internal bra,” designed to provide additional structural support and help maintain breast shape over time.
During the procedure, 34 grams of tissue were removed from the right breast and 36 grams from the left breast to improve symmetry and contour. At just 4 weeks post-op, the patient was already very pleased with her lifted, supported breast appearance and early healing results.
