This 52 year old female had atypical lobular hyperplasia but no upgrade to malignancy in both breasts, and opted to proceed with bilateral mastectomy and breast reconstruction. She wished to remain the same size as her natural breasts. Dr. Janssen operated two weeks after the initial bilateral mastectomy and used resorbable suture material mesh to support the skin for the implants. Unfortunately, she had bilateral capsular contracture and required a second operation to exchange the implants. She had a 400cc implant on the right and a 380cc implant on the left, and had fat grafting. The patient was very satisfied with the results.
