With a second location in Appleton, Fox Valley Plastic Surgery hopes to better serve its growing client base after 20 years in the Oshkosh area. The new facility is one of many developments that reflect the practice’s patient-focused philosophy.
Oshkosh, Wisconsin (October 2013) — After 2 decades in practice in Oshkosh, the doctors of Fox Valley Plastic Surgery (http://www.fvpsurgery.com/) decided to commemorate the milestone with the opening of a second office in Appleton. To serve more plastic surgery patients, they expanded with a second office that they say will offer the same caliber of care as the original.
“What better way to mark our 20th anniversary than to reach out to more of the patients who have been the foundation of our success?” Dr. David Janssen says. “We actually had an anniversary event a few months ago, but this new office gave us yet another reason to celebrate.”
Dr. Janssen and the practice’s 2 other plastic surgeons, who will all work in the Appleton, WI office, were present for a ribbon cutting and dedication ceremony Oct. 3. The office is part of the Encircle Health medical complex, and all 3 doctors will rotate between the Appleton and Oshkosh offices for appointments.
“We wanted to be able to reach people in another area,” Dr. William Doubek says. “We were already drawing some patients from Appleton, so we knew there was a need there we could serve. With the new office, those patients now have a more convenient option.”
The new office includes consultation space for surgical patients, 2 examination rooms, and 2 procedure rooms where non-surgical treatments will be performed. The practice offers a wide variety of surgical and non-surgical services for the face, breasts, and body. The doctors and staff also provide medical spa treatments including BOTOX® Cosmetic, dermal fillers, and an array of laser procedures.
The practice also has a medical weight-loss program and a vein center that provides sclerotherapy. In 2012, Fox Valley Plastic Surgery brought on a third doctor whose areas of specialization enhance the practice’s offerings. Dr. Marc Serret performs hair restoration and migraine surgery in addition to more popular cosmetic surgeries such as breast augmentation, the Wisconsin practice’s top procedure.
“We offer our patients multiple options when it comes to procedures,” Dr. Serret says, “and now we can also offer patients their choice of location. We’ve gotten great feedback so far about the new facility, which is really lovely.”
The Appleton location was designed to mirror the same warm and inviting atmosphere of the Oshkosh office, but within the more modern context of the Encircle Health complex.
“We’ve had a lot of positive changes in the past couple of years,” Dr. Janssen says. “That’s all thanks to our patients. Because of them, we have been able to grow as a practice.”
