The MACS-lift stands for Minimal Access Cranial Suspension lift. The purpose of this surgical procedure is to give more youthful contour to the face and neck. The MACS facelift corrects sagging facial features through a short, minimal incision.
Advantages:
- Shorter scar: The MACS facelift uses a shorter incision that is in front of the ear, instead of behind, which is much easier to hide.
- Less time in the operating room: The procedure is about 2 hours, which is at least an hour less than a traditional face lift.
